Culver's post office is located next to Heritage Park in the downtown
historic district. This brick structure was erected in 1932 during the dark days of the depression. On the wall inside is an original canvas mural depicting Culver. Listed with the Indiana Historical Society, this is the only canvas post office mural in Indiana with six side panels. When you are in Culver, step inside to view this memorable pictorial record of local history.
This rendition of the local post office was painted from photos taken quite a few years ago, before handicapped ramps were the norm for public buildings.
